Lead-colored clouds overlap Over unseeable things They multiply
My hand forms a fist As somebody's door Closes completely
Deep wounds in the shape of the moon (1) My thoughts rode in the night (2)
The raging earth The shadow of the rocks grow thickly Infinite blades of dull grass
I trample over them (3) Struggling to get to that place Because you are there
(1) There's a bunch of things that "you" could mean; I took the "appearance" meaning, which seems to make the most sense
(2) "Omoi" - thought; "haseta" - to drive (a car), to ride (a horse), to win (fame); "yoru" - night. Awkward, no?
(3) Most likely, the grass | |
